Whitstable Team Tournament 19th - 20th June

Whitstable Quasar's first full team tournament will run on Saturday 19th until Sunday 20th June.

This will be a standard Supercharge, 6 lives tournament, 5 players per team (plus alternate).

1s and 2s will run upstairs while the main tournament takes place.

Once we have a good idea for the number of teams attending we will give exact start/end times and event format. For those travelling in the earliest we will start on Saturday will be 9am, and we will finish by 10pm on Sunday.

Nearest accommodation is the Canterbury Whitstable Travelodge on the A299, the Whitstable Premier Inn, and the Herne Bay Premier Inn. There are plenty of B&Bs around the area, but none appear cheaper than the hotels. When booking at the Travelodge you'll often find it cheaper to book each day on its own.

If you are flying in then you can use any London airport, get the train or bus in to central London and then the train to Whitstable from Victoria. Most buses from the airports go to Victoria and they tend to be cheaper than taking the train. The station in Whitstable is about 15 minutes walk from the arena. If you are flying in let me know your flight times and airport and I'll see what I can do about arranging lifts. The nearest airports to me are London City LCY (by far the best), London Stansted STN, and London Gatwick LGW, using these airports increases your chances for me to arrange a lift.

For those arriving on the Friday we'll probably be playing some games Friday night after closing, and quite possibly during the day if there are enough people.
